Louise Redknapp announces big news on Lorraine after 'very hard few years'

Louise Redknapp had some big news this morning as she planned for 2022 to be the "most positive year yet".

Appearing on Lorraine, alongside lifestyle expert Paul Wharton, they told of plans for them working together in a new show called "We've got this" where they help people get back on track with their lives in the new year.

They are looking for people to take part in the show and shared details of how they can apply.

Lorraine said the show is a great idea as everyone needs a boost.

Louise agreed as she said: "Yeah, I think so. I think the last few years have been so hard for everybody. So much in so many people's lives have changed with covid with jobs, unfortunately losing family members, not going out much."

She added: "We're going to try and really focus on 2022 being the most positive year yet."

Lorraine tried to get Louise to take a more personal take on the matter as she said: "You've been through all sorts. You have to kind of learn from that."

Louise answered: "You do, you have to learn and you have to work out what makes you move on to the next step.

"As a nation we need to start pulling back together and looking forward to what's exciting and what is to come."

They said they want to hear from viewers who think that they just need a little bit of help.

You can apply to appear on the show by emailing lorraine@itv.com before December 19.

In 2021, Louise has seen her ex-husband, Jamie Redknapp get married to new beau Frida Andersson and then later welcome their new baby into the world, after their own marriage broke down in 2017.

According to reports, she found the news of him moving on hard to handle but has since looked to moving on herself with career updates and her sons urging her to start dating again.
