Louise Minchin leaves I'm A Celebrity and hints at tension in castle during exit interview

Louise Minchin hinted at tension in the I'm A Celebrity castle as she became the latest star to get the boot from the show on Thursday night.

Bookies predicted Louise's time in the castle could be running out, having had her in the mix to go since Monday and, just days ahead of this year's final, the former BBC Breakfast host finished bottom of the latest public vote.

As always, it was the job of I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec to break the news to the campmates on who was leaving and, after five of their co-stars were revealed to be safe, it was down to Louise and Olympic diving champion Matty Lee to hear who was staying and who was going.

Matty put his head in his hands as he waited to hear the result with the rest of the camp an d Louise herself looking sad when the Geordie duo said her name.

Speaking to Ant and Dec in her exit interview, Louise admitted that she was sad to leave so close to the final, but also very happy to be sat with a glass of fizz in her hand and the prospect of going home to a warm bed.

But she also dropped a bit of a bombshell about the mood in the camp over the past day, saying there were a few grumpy people.

She told the lads: "The emotions are so high, you get really emotional about silly things and we have our individual things going on, individual issues, whether it's home or whatever.

"And suddenly the washing up gets important."

She then mentioned that a few people still in there had got grumpy about chores, with Dec joking: "Tune in tomorrow night viewers!"

Louise also voiced her disappointment at Frankie Bridge being the only woman left standing, saying she wasn't sure why three were voted out in a row earlier this week as Arleme Phillips, Kadeena Cox and Snoochie Shy were all voted out.
