Louis Walsh reignites Cheryl feud with damning Celebrity X Factor jibe

Louis Walsh has reignited his long-standing feud with Cheryl with a damning X Factor jibe.

The Irish TV judge and Geordie popstar have butted heads multiple times in the past, with their strained relationship dating back to when Louis looked after Girls Aloud in their early days following their win on Popstars: The Rivals.

After Cheryl accused him of being a rubbish manager, adding that he didn't like her or her bandmates, Louis hit back by saying "I am a much better manager than she is a singer.

"She seems to be in the fashion business now, selling fake hairpieces, fake eyelashes, fake everything."

And as Louis, who also once branded Cheryl "irrelevant," returns to our screens on The X Factor: Celebrity this weekend, he has given his thoughts on whether Cheryl should be on the show, following rumours she'd been asked back to be on the judging panel.

Louis retorted "X Factor as a contestant? As a contestant she would be good. I don't know if she could win."

And then when asked if he thought she'd sing live if she was on the show Louis sarcastically quipped ""Cheryl doesn't mime

"It is called lip-syncing."

However, it does look like Louis, who joins Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger to judge The X Factor: Celebrity, is ready to bury the hatcher with Cheryl and he said "‘I love her now more than I used to.

"She’s a good person and she’s had a tough time. Now she’s got a baby and I only wish her well.’

The X Factor: Celebrity starts on ITV on Saturday night with a very varied lineup that includes Love Island stars, rugby players and even Ricki Lake!
