Louis Walsh has remarkably revealed he is open to Brian McFadden rejoining Westlife.
The music icon, who still manages the Irish boyband, has said the crew still "like Brian" and hinted he could perform at one of their stadium gigs in 2020.
Louis said: “If Brian was there, yes. Brian could get up and perform.
“We all like Brian, he was trouble and great fun.”
However, the ultimate reunion appears unlikely as the 67-year-old insisted it wouldn't be his call.
He told the Irish Sun: "But as their manager it will be up to the four boys.
“No, I couldn’t make that decision. That’s their decision.”
McFadden sentationally walked out on Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne in 2004 to pursue a solo career.
The now four-piece band, who rejoined in 2018, are to play Cork's Pairc Ui Chaoimh, twice, and Wembley Stadium in August, 2020.
McFadden previously said the boys had rejected his return to the band after a multi-million euro offer.
He told the Irish Sun: “I was offered a big multi-million pound deal. It was the other boys in Westlife who said ‘no’. They didn’t want me back.
“How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didn’t realise they still had those feelings towards me.”
