Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal has expressed his concern over Georginio Wijnaldum's lack of playing time at Paris Saint Germain following his move from Liverpool.
Wijnaldum left Anfield this summer following the expiry of his contract and joined the French giants on a free transfer, joining Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Donnarumma who also signed for free.
The Dutchman was a regular in Jurgen Klopp's side, but has found it hard to consistently feature in Mauricio Pochettino's side due to the resurgence of former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
The former Evertonian starred during PSG's recent 2-0 win over Manchester City, further sending Wijnaldum down the pecking order, with van Gaal worried.

Wijnaldum will have the chance to get some much-needed minutes under his belt while away with the Dutch national side, as Holland face both Latvia and Gibraltar during the October international break.
The former Manchester United boss spoke about his concern for Wijnaldum during the national team press conference and said: "'Of course I'm worried.
"I already talked to him about that when I arrived. But the alarm bells are not going off yet."
Wijnaldum was just one of seven signings made by PSG this summer, as Achraf Hakimi, Danilo Pereira and Nuno Mendes were all purchased alongside the free signings made by the French giants.
It was always apparent that Wijnaldum would face competition for his place, but this was already something that he was used to at Liverpool, although he was a favourite at Anfield.

The Dutchman was a major part of one of the most famous ever Anfield nights, as he scored twice in quick succession to level the Champions League tie against Barcelona, before Divock Origi completed the turnaround to send Liverpool through to the final, before winning it in 2019.
Klopp admitted that he did not want Wijnaldum to leave Liverpool, and was sad to see him go: "As a team we said our goodbyes to Gini at Anfield after the final game of the season. There was the public farewell on the pitch with the guard of honour. But then a more private occasion also.
"It was difficult for all of us because of how much this astonishing person means to the group. He’s been a big part of our lives for so long. There is nothing I won’t miss about him.
"I will miss the player he is like crazy, highest-quality ability, one of the smartest players I have ever had the privilege to coach. His contribution was off the scale, a manager’s dream."
It was the highest of praise from Klopp, who signed the Dutchman in 2016, and the German had a similar connection to Adam Lallana who left for Brighton and Hove Albion in 2020.
For now, Wijnaldum has a dream move despite the lack of playing time, and PSG appear to be destined for greatness this season with one of the best squads in world football.
