Louis Tomlinson's 'awkward' BBC Breakfast interview as he vows he won't be back

Louis Tomlinson has vowed he 'won't be going on there again' after an awkward BBC Breakfast interview.

The One Direction star vented his anger with his 33.5 million followers on Twitter after the early morning interview with hosts Dan Walker and Louise Minchin.

He tweeted: "Defo wont be going on there again Haha! Love to all my fans for always having my back."

Later, he added: "Anyway f*** the negativity now. It's been a siiiiick week."

In quick response, BBC's Dan wrote: "Sorry you feel like that. It was nice to speak to you on  #BBCBreakfast this morning. Can I ask what you are upset about?"

Louis responded: "I was upset that you continued to ask me about my grief. It goes without saying how hard it is to lose both people so close to me. The least I ask is that you respect my decision of not wanting to be asked in interviews about something so painful."

He explained: "I'm lucky enough to have a creative outlet for me to talk about grief this doesn't however give you the right to talk about it for gossip purposes."

Dan added: "We asked him loads of questions about his new album but also in the context of his past success. Thanks for watching."

Then the BBC star was quick to clarify they probed Louis with questions about his mum in reference to his new album Walls, reports The Mirror.

He claimed: "Hi Louis. We were asking you about the song on your new album about your mum. We know it’s painful which is why we didn’t dwell on it.

"No intention to upset you or be ‘gossipy’ about it at all. That’s not our style on  #BBCBreakfast."

Social media was awash with One Direction fans picking up on Louis' looking awkward and uncomfortable throughout the questioning.

"Louis looks so uncomfortable and awkward the whole interview. Next time do you research and not recycle questions that has been asked and heard a million times!" One fan wrote, among the troops.

Unprofessional and disrespectful interview. he was there because of his debut album."
