Louis Tomlinson's heart-warming music video which stars a Leeds pensioner has helped raised over £10,000 for a children's hospice.
The video for his single 'Two of Us' shows the One Direction star surprise 83-year-old Richard Green and help him tick off a number of long-held ambitions on his bucket list.
It shows the two enjoying a rollercoaster ride, a trip in a helicopter and Richard singing with Louis on stage, before finishing with an appeal for viewers to make donations to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Research UK.
Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice has revealed the viral video, which was viewed over 1 million times in 24 hours, helped raised more than £10,000 for them.
The charity cares for life-shortening and life-threatening conditions in various parts of the north, including Tomlinson's native South Yorkshire.
Two of Us was released as a tribute to Louis' mum Johannah Poulston, who died of leukaemia in the same month as Richard's wife - in December 2016.
Helen Mower, head of fundraising at the children's hospice, said: “Everyone here is a big fan of Louis. He is a huge star but he never forgets his roots.
"This is a fantastic amount of money for us and we are so very grateful.
"Over the last ten years we have cared for many families from his home town of Doncaster, and his kindness and thoughtfulness towards us never ceases.”
