Louis Tomlinson has delighted his Geordie fans by confirming he will host an album signing in Newcastle.
It's now been 12 years since a then teenage Louis shot to fame on The X Factor as a member of One Direction. The group were put together by the judges at Boot Camp, with Nicole Scherzinger taking credit for the line-up, before going onto reach the final of the ITV talent show, in the year that Matt Cardle won.
While they might not have triumphed on The X Factor, 1D went onto be the show's biggest global success story, with platinum selling albums and packed out tours across the globe, landing huge hits with the likes of What Makes You Beautiful, Best Song Ever and Story of My Life.

Louis made a return to The X Factor on his own to be a judge for the programme's final series in 2018 and has scored solo success with a string of singles including Back To You and Miss You and Kill My Mind, Made It and Walls, which all appeared on his debut solo album of the same name which was released in 2020.
He is doing album signings across the UK in the coming weeks in support of his new album Faith in the Future, with one of those taking place in Newcastle city centre at HMV in Eldon Square on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 16.
Access to these signings is limited to wristband holders only. You can pre-order the album and event entry on the HMV website to secure your place.
The pre-ordered album + event entry bundles (album + wristband for entry) will be available to collect from the store on the day of the event.
