Olympic gymnast Louis Smith will be back on safer ground this Christmas after his stint as a judge on BBC1’s not entirely overwhelming Saturday night talent show Tumble when he returns in his guise as a former champion to the Christmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing. The celebrity dance show, which will also welcome back Bruce Forsyth, will feature Strictly alumni Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Rachel Stevens, Lisa Riley and Russell Grant (another former contestant, Susanna Reid, presumably opting for a lie-in). But another former star who found fame on the BBC Breakfast sofa, WILL be back. Yes, it’s Chris Hollins! Although, it might have been more fun to watch him on Tumble.
