Louis Saha agrees with Moussa Sissoko on Harry Kane’s Tottenham future amid transfer speculation

Louis Saha and Moussa Sissoko have both suggested that Harry Kane deserves a move away from Tottenham to challenge for major titles.

The Spurs forward currently has plenty of speculation surrounding his immediate future having previously expressed his desire to leave the club.

He failed to report for pre-season training due to an extended holiday and rumours of a move to Manchester City persist with just two weeks remaining of the current transfer window.

Former Spurs forward Louis Saha has suggested that the England captain has earned the right to look for a move having served the north London club with distinction.

Talking to GentingBet, the Frenchman said: "Harry Kane is such a professional and has always committed himself in the best way possible.

“But Harry has every right to try and push for a move. He’s proven himself and conducted himself in the best way possible but it is understandable that he wants to leave and try to win the best trophies.

“He feels like he gave everything to his club and now deserves an open door. I had the same situation at Fulham. At the end of the day, it is your career and if people show ambition in any other career then it would be respected but that gets lost in football sometimes.

“We can forget that players are humans with emotions and not robots - who might have a dream job they are after.”

This is a sentiment ironically that Kane’s current Tottenham teammate Moussa Sissoko agrees on, with a lack of trophies in north London being the midfielder’s main point of argument.

Talking to Foot Mercato in June, the ex-Newcastle man said: “Like all players, [Kane] wants to win titles. A player of his stature deserves to win titles each season. Sadly, we have failed to do so each time for various reasons. I think that this must irk him inside.”

“I do not know if he will leave or not, but if he ever did leave, I would wish him the best because he deserves to win titles with all that he has done. He is truly an extraordinary player,” he continued.
