Louis Ducruet makes revelation after swapping Monaco for Nottingham Forest

Louis Ducruet has revealed his long-term dream is to one day "lead" AS Monaco.

The 27-year-old, who is the son of Princess Stephanie of Monaco and is 15th in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne, has joined Nottingham Forest as an advisor for international projects.

He will work on expanding the club’s global presence, meaning he will not be involved in the football department at the City Ground.

Ducruet made the move after leaving AS Monaco this summer.

And he told Gala: "I wanted to discover other ways of working, in an environment other than the Monegasque environment which is quite particular.

"At AS Monaco, I was a bit stuck. I preferred to leave in order to come back better. My dream and my goal are still to be able to lead this club one day.

"I will continue to live in the Principality. Leaving AS Monaco was heartbreaking, but also leaving my country, it would have been too much at once."
