Louis C.K.'s 'I Love You Daddy' won't be released amid sexual misconduct allegations

I shelve you, Daddy.

Louis C.K.'s upcoming film "I Love You Daddy" will no longer be released after the comedian was accused of masturbating in front of several women in a bombshell piece published by The New York Times on Thursday.

The Orchard, the distribution company that planned to debut the film on Nov. 17, said in a statement on Friday that it would not be putting out the film amid the accusations.

"'The Orchard' will not be moving forward with the release of 'I Love You Daddy,'" the company said in a statement to the New York Daily News.

The Orchard announced yesterday that they would be reviewing how to move forward after the premiere for the flick _ starring C.K., John Malkovich, Chloe Grace Moretz, Rose Byrne and Charlie Day _ was cancelled for Thursday night.

The black and white movie was both written and directed by C.K. follows a father whose teenage daughter falls in love with a filmmaker who is decades older than her.

"I Love You Daddy" also reportedly features a scene in which a character aggressively mimics masturbation in front of other characters.

It is unclear if the film will ever be released now that The Orchard won't be moving forward.

The "Louie" star was accused in the New York Times by five women, who claimed the well-known comedian requested to masturbate in front of them _ or over the phone.

HBO has distanced itself from the 50-year-old since the reports surfaced, including removing him from an upcoming charity benefit. The network has also removed his specials from its streaming services.

FX, which has produced five shows with Louis C.K. over the years, said it is "very troubled by the allegations" and is currently reviewing next steps.
