Loughgall FC unveils ambitious ground redevelopment plans

Loughgall Football Club has unveiled ambitious plans for a major makeover of their Lakeview Park ground.

The NIFL Championship club has lodged plans with Armagh Banbridge & Craigavon Council for the redevelopment of their home venue.

The plans include renovation of the Raymond Nesbitt Stand to include 300 seats with further covered terracing on each side. A 200-seat stand at the golf course end of the ground with adjoining toilet block for away supporters is also set to be constructed.

New turnstiles will open onto the Ballygassey Road at both ends of the Hilbert Willis Stand, with the existing clubhouse to be renovated.

The club said on their social media: "These plans are in keeping with our goal to provide a football and community hub at Loughgall FC and to transform Lakeview Park into one of the best small stadiums in Northern Ireland.

"We would like to thank our club sponsors DA Architects for their assistance in completion of the plans."
