Two people were rescued by the RNLI in Co Tipperary on Sunday after their boat had veered onto ground.
The Lough Derg RNLI rescued the pair on Sunday evening who had grounded on a shoal near the mouth of the River Scariff.
The volunteer crew of four arrived to the scene around 5pm and towed the 21 foot motor boat to safe waters.

The lifeboat crew checked the boat for damage and - once it was established it was in good working order - allowed it to continue on its journey.
Head of the rescue team, Eleanor Hooker, said boat users should "plan your passage and pay close attention to the navigational marks at the entrance to harbours and rivers on the lake".
The lifeboat returned to the station and was ready for service again to be used at 7:15pm.
