A jury has been shown an image allegedly showing the boyfriend of a Holby City star's daughter smiling as he filmed her overdosing on drugs at a festival.

Winchester Crown Court heard Ceon Broughton gave Louella Fletcher-Michie, 24, the drug 2-CP at Bestival then recorded her in a secluded area where she was later found dead.

In the footage, Ms Fletcher-Michie the daughter of soap actor John Michie repeatedly shouted "film me", "call my mum" and "call my brother, call my sister", jurors heard.

At times Broughton looked to be smiling as he turned the camera on himself in the footage shown to the jury.

He also told Ms Fletcher-Michie "put your phone away" and asked her to turn on airplane mode as she talked about contacting her mum, the court heard.

Broughton, of Enfield, north London, denies manslaughter and supplying the drug.

Jurors were told Louella's mum, Carol Fletcher-Michie, eventually contacted Broughton at 6.48pm and heard Louella "screeching" in the background.

She "dropped everything" and travelled with Mr Michie, 62, to the festival site at Lulworth Castle, Dorset, the court heard.

Louella was found dead by security at around 1am on September 11, 2017 after Broughton left her to seek help, the court was told.
