Loudmouth Jamie O'Hara in Rangers dig over Billy Gilmour loan bid as he issues 'better' Norwich transfer advice

Outspoken pundit Jamie O'Hara insists Billy Gilmour has an easy decision to make and turn down a potential loan move to Rangers.

The Scotland cap looks set to leave Chelsea on loan this summer in search of a regular starting spot after 11 Premier League appearances last term.

The Daily Record report that Steven Gerrard is keen on bringing the 20-year-old back to Ibrox this summer for the season to allow him to get more game time away from Stamford Bridge.

However, a number of Premier League clubs are also on red alert with Thomas Tuchel's connection to Norwich boss Daniel Farke from their Borussia Dortmund days has also made Carrow Road a likely destination.

Ibrox icon Ally McCoist admitted he would be delighted to see the former Rangers academy graduate back in Govan on talkSPORT.

However, the on-air debate turned heated after he asked the former Tottenham midfielder where Gilmour should go.

He got a predictable answer - dismissing the Scottish Premiership and Rangers bid for Champions League football.

He said: “Norwich or Rangers? I’d say Norwich for the Premier League football.

“Premier League football is much better than four decent games a season and getting knocked out of the Champions League.

“Norwich is better than Rangers for Gilmour.”

McCoist responded: “I asked the question knowing exactly what the answer was!”
