Lou Teasdale is said to have ended her relationship with Andy Carroll – despite the former footballer reportedly making a “desperate” bid to reconcile by flying to Ibiza to find her.
The celebrity make-up artist, 41, began dating the ex-England striker, 36, last year following his split from reality TV star Billi Mucklow, with whom he shares three children. He is also father to two other children from a previous relationship, whom Mucklow continues to raise.
Their break-up was confirmed earlier this week, with initial reports suggesting Carroll had been the one to call time on the relationship after a series of arguments and frustration over Teasdale’s “influencer lifestyle.”
A source told The Sun: “Andy got sick of Lou’s demands… She’s always posting on social media and he hates that.”
However, the Daily Mail now claims it was Teasdale who walked away “a few days ago,” calling it “very much her choice” and “the only way to move forward.”

According to the paper, Carroll responded by chartering a private plane to Ibiza, where Teasdale is on holiday with her family, in an attempt to see her – despite allegedly not knowing where she was staying.
A source said Teasdale had hoped to keep the split private and “isn’t interested in pointing the finger or blaming Andy.” They added that she has been left “very upset” over how events have “played out” and that their recent arguments were “especially difficult” for her.
Carroll is said to have blocked her on Instagram and deleted all photos of them together. Teasdale, however, still has pictures of Carroll on her account, including from a previous Ibiza trip earlier this year when she captioned one image: “My favourite place with my favourite person,” to which Carroll replied: “You are a miracle.”
Her January birthday tribute to him – “Happy birthday to my favourite person I ever met” – also remains online.
The source added: “All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven’t gone away. But Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.”
The Standard has contacted representatives for Carroll and Teasdale.
