The Hunter's newest millionaire has been found after a bathroom break prompted him to check his winning Lotto ticket.
The player player held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Saturday's lottery draw. Each division one winning entry scored $1,565,180.74.
Officials had launched an appeal to find the unaware millionaire on Monday, eventually tracking him down.
"Only this morning after I got to work, I went to the toilet and thought, 'I'd better check my Lotto ticket'," the man told officials from The Lott.
"So, I checked it and thought, 'No, this can't be right!'.
"I closed the app and then went in again and it's come up again.
"I rang my missus and I couldn't stop crying."
The man's wife said officials had "no idea what this means to us".
"We're everyday battlers and we were wondering how we were going to retire with a mortgage," she said.
"Not anymore.
"I've been watching an SBS show about the Eiffel Tower, and I've always said I'd love to go and see it for real. And now we will.
"You've changed our lives."
The winning lottery ticket, purchased at Nextra Kotara in Westfield Kotara, had sat unclaimed on Monday after the Saturday draw.
Nextra Kotara owner David Jones said he was thrilled to discover his outlet had sold its second division one winning entry in just a month.
"We've sold plenty of division one winning entries over our 23 years in Kotara, but never two in the space of a month," he said.
"We've been called the 'lucky store' before over the years, but this month has certainly proved that title true once again. We'll be spreading the good news in store and hoping our mystery division one winner checks their ticket soon.
"Our customers will be so excited to hear we've sold another division one winning entry, and there will no doubt be a real buzz around the centre for a while."
