Lotto ticket holder scoops £3.8m jackpot with players urged to check their numbers

National Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets as one ticket holder has scooped the £3.8million Lotto jackpot tonight.

The winning Lotto numbers are: 13, 49, 38, 39, 53, 56 and the bonus number is 59.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Tonight’s fabulous £3.8m Lotto jackpot has been won by a single ticket-holder – our third winner in a week, after Wednesday’s £5.4m jackpot was shared between two lucky ticket-holders.

"Players are being urged to check their tickets online via the National Lottery app or website, or in their local shop, and to give us a call as soon as possible to claim this massive prize.

“National Lottery players make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes across the country raising, on average, around £30m every week.

"Thanks to National Lottery players, over £800M has been distributed to date across the UK to help tackle the impact of coronavirus, including more than £400m to support the most vulnerable in our communities."

The winning Thunderball numbers are: 39, 16, 37, 10, 24 and the Thunderball number is 12.

Wednesday's estimated Lotto jackpot is £2million.

Yesterday one lucky ticket bagged a record EuroMillions jackpot and the holder will receive a whopping €200million (£175million).

If the ticket, which was bought in France, is held by a single player, then they have now become the biggest winner in the history of the pan-European lottery.

The winner is now instantly richer than Adele (£150m), Sir Tom Jones (£170m), golfer Rory McIlroy (£170m) and all four of Little Mix combined (£48m).

The French player matched all five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars.

The jackpot in next Tuesday's EuroMillions will now be £15million.
