A lucky punter will be celebrating this evening after scooping the top Lotto jackpot prize this evening of nearly €2.5 million.
The player is set to take home a life changing win of €2,482,715 but Lotto bosses are yet to reveal where the ticket was sold.
The winning numbers were: 04, 05, 12, 15, 16, 31 and the bonus was 23.
There were no winners of the Lotte Plus 1 and Plus 2 top prized but over 101,000 players won smaller prizes.
Meanwhile the Lotto Plus raffle number was 2522 and there were 94 winners who all took home €500 each.
