Lotto results Ireland: Dublin store that sold life-changing ticket during Saturday's draw named

The Dublin store who sold a very lucky ticket for Saturday night's Lotto draw has been revelaed.

A customer at the Centra store in Greendale Shopping Centre in Kilbarrack nabbed the life-changing prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw, and has come forward to the National Lottery.

Arrangements are now being made for the lucky player to get their winnings.

The Dubliner wasn't the only person to win big on Saturday, with a Mullingar player scooping the Match 5+Bonus prize, winning a whopping €1,007,815.

A National Lottery spokesperson urged the public to purchase their tickets early ahead of Wednesday's draw to avoid lengthy queues.

They said: “It was a big weekend for Lotto players over the weekend. As well as a top prize winner in Dublin, we also saw a player in Mullingar become the newest Lotto millionaire after scooping the Match 5+Bonus prize which was worth an incredible €1,007,815 on Saturday night.

"We understand that players all over the country would love to see the jackpot won before Christmas and with the capped €19.06 million still up for grabs, we are reminding players to purchase their tickets early ahead of Wednesday night’s draw and to avoid queues in-store where possible."
