Dublin Lotto players are being urged to check their tickets after a lucky punter nabbed almost €70k in last night's draw.
While the overall jackpot was not won - the lovely sum of money will be a huge benefit to the ticket holder.
The winner matched five numbers and the bonus ball, nabbing the sum of €69,818, and leaving them one one number away from the €7.6 million jackpot.
The lucky player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at the Gala store in Balgaddy in Lucan, Co Dublin.
The winning numbers from last night’s Lotto draw are: 02, 05, 07, 10, 24, 46 and the bonus was: 38.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “As the jackpot for was not won last night, the St. Patrick’s Day jackpot draw will now roll to an estimated €8 million. There is a huge buzz growing around the jackpot now as it has been rolling since Saturday 30th January.
"We are encouraging all of our Lotto players to continue to follow the Government guidelines in place and to avoid any queues in shops when buying their tickets for Wednesday’s draw. Players who are unable to get to their local store can play all of their favourite National Lottery games online at www.lottery.ie or by using the National Lottery app.”
