Ireland's record Lotto jackpot has been tantalisingly out of reach for months - and on Wednesday night it rolled over yet again.
However it's not all bad news, as three lucky punters managed to scoop a life-changing prize of over €300k after matching five numbers plus the bonus.
And while National Lottery chiefs have not yet revealed the exact locations where all three tickets were sold, we now know that one of them was purchased in the west.
Mulhern’s Applegreen Filling Station & Gala Shop on Ballina Street in Crossmolina, Co Mayo, shared a post on social media on Wednesday night confirming that one of the golden tickets was bought in their store.
Punters in the area have been urged to check their tickets to see if they have won the €305,478 prize.
They wrote: "BRILLIANT NEWS.
"We have just been told we have sold a winning ticket for €305,478.00 in tonight’s Irish lotto Draw.
"MAKE SURE 2 call in over the next few days and check your tickets.
"Congratulations and best wishes to the lucky winner."
The winning numbers in Wednesday's draw were 08, 24, 36, 38, 41, 45 and the bonus was 16.
While there were also no winners of the jackpot in the Plus 1 and Plus 2 draws on Wednesday.
