Irish Lotto Players could be in with a chance of winning the biggest jackpot up for grabs since 2010 this weekend.
After last night’s draw saw no winners of the €15,588,155 top prize, and neither plus draws, the staggering sum will roll over to this weekend’s draw.
The Lotto numbers from last night were 1, 2, 9, 13, 21, 34, and the bonus number was 47.
In the Lotto Plus 1 draw the numbers were 21, 26, 27, 28, 34 with a bonus number of 42, for €1 million in winnings, and the Lotto Plus 2 numbers were 27, 5, 12, 14, 36, 42 with bonus number 47, for €250,000.
The jackpot has been building for over three months now and will see Saturday’s potential winnings reach the largest sum seen this year so far.
Since the Lotto game was launched in Ireland in 1988, only five jackpots in excess of €15million have been won.
The last time a Lotto player secured winnings of over €15 million was in October 2010 when a Dublin ticket holder landed the life-changing amount of €16,390,239.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It’s set to be a big weekend for Lotto players all over the country with the buzz around the jackpot growing as we have not seen a jackpot of this size in over 10 years.
“We are reminding players who are hoping to be one of the big winners to buy their tickets early either in-store, in-app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for ticket sales on Saturday night.”
