Nearly 30 people have won major prizes in the New Year's Day Lotto draw - but no one has managed to take home the record-breaking €19.06 million top jackpot.

In total, over 153,000 players won prizes in Lotto and Lotto Plus games on Saturday evening.

The highest of these saw twenty eight winners of the Match 5 prize each winning €26,380.

The winning numbers were:

Main Lotto draw

Lotto Plus One draw

Lotto Plus Two draw

Lotto raffle

Ticket number 5567 - with 127 winners of €500.

Meanwhile, one lucky Lotto punter got their 2022 off to an incredible start by becoming Ireland’s newest millionaire.

The player, in Co Meath, won the top prize of €1 million in Friday night’s Millionaire Raffle draw.

The Royal county ticketholder scooped the life-changing cash with Millionaire Raffle ticket number 114263.

The National Lottery said it is hoping to announce the winning store location on Monday.

Four other players in Carlow, Dublin and Tipperary are also sure to be celebrating after they won the other top tier prizes of €100,000 in the New Year’s Eve draw.

With a total of 6,210 players winning prizes of between €500 and €1 million, the National Lottery is urging ticket holders to check their raffle numbers to see if they have kicked 2022 off with a win.
