Lotto chiefs yesterday urged people to check their accounts and emails to see if they are Ireland's newest millionaire.
A lucky punter won an incredible €1 million fortune when they landed the Lotto Plus 1 top prize on Wednesday night.
The Co Meath player scooped the life-changing amount after buying the ticket online.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This morning, imagine getting up out of bed as normal, making yourself a cup of coffee and then checking those emails, as so many of us do.
"Imagine if one of those emails announced that you are a millionaire! Well that is what may have happened to one person registered in Co Meath."
"So if you are from Meath and have a National Lottery online account, what are you waiting for? Check those emails or log onto your account to see if you are €1,000,000 richer.”
The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers from Wednesday's draw were: 06, 12, 26, 30, 41, 45 and the bonus number was: 27.
This lucky winner from Co Meath is the fifth Lotto Plus 1 top prize winner, of €1 million this year.
