A lucky Dublin punter is Ireland's latest millionaire after winning the EuroMillions €1million Ireland Only raffle.
Lotto bosses have now revealed the winning ticket was sold in the Texaco/Centra store in the Corporate Business Park in Blanchardstown.
The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning code, found on the winning EuroMillions ticket, is IHKM23791 and players are being urged to check their tickets, Dublin Live reports.
Owner of the winning Texaco/Centre store, Paul Fitzgerald spoke of his delight after one of his lucky customers won the massive prize.
He said: “There’s never a bad time for somebody to win €1million but to do it in the run up to Christmas is truly magical.
"Knowing that one of my lucky customers is going to have the most amazing Christmas with their family and friends is truly special.
"We have a very busy store and most of our customers are from businesses in the area and pop into us for their lunch. We’ve had a lot of excitement in the store early this morning as people learn about the news.
"We are now calling on anybody who was in the area yesterday to check their tickets carefully and we hope that they claim the prize in time to have a Christmas of a lifetime."
He continued: “It’s great for the store to sell a winning ticket like this so we’ll have to celebrate properly!
"We will be putting our agent selling bonus into the kitty for the staff Christmas party so I’m sure we’ll have another big celebration coming up to the Christmas period to thank the staff for all of their hard work throughout the year."
