Lotto chiefs reveal increased prizes for tonight's €190million EuroMillions draw

Tuesday's EuroMillions could lead to multiple Irish millionaires as Lotto bosses revealed they have increased prizes for tonight's draw.

It is the first time in the history of the game that the €190million prize limit has rolled over three times in a row.

And the jackpot cap means more money will flow down to lower prizes tonight, with an extra €15million up for grabs.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “We really are in unprecedented territory with the €190 million EuroMillions capped jackpot rolling for the third time – the first time that this has occurred in the history of the game.

"As we have reached the maximum jackpot cap, all of the jackpot prize excess will now flow down to lower prize tiers which means that on top of the truly life-altering €190 million jackpot up for grabs, these lower tier prizes could create even more multi-millionaires in Ireland tonight.

"This €190 million draw is really capturing the imaginations of our players. It is an incredible amount to win, immediately making the winner one of the richest people in the country.

"Interest is so strong in tonight’s draw we are advising players to avoid queues and buy their tickets early in-store, online at www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery app.”
