Lottie Lion claims she annoys herself in some parts of The Apprentice

Apprentice wannabe Lottie Lion has said she's started to annoy herself on the hit BBC show.

Librarian Lottie, who has become a controversial figure this series because of her no-nonsense and cut-throat attitude, makes the confession in tonight's episode as she opens up during the tough interview round.

"Honestly, I have become aware of parts of me in this process that I'm really not fond of," said the 19-year-old before adding, "I don't like myself and parts of myself that I've seen in this process, like the fact I have fallen out with people and the fact people don't trust me as a leader."

The star finds it difficult to watch back as there are parts of herself throughout the show she isn't keen on.

Lottie added: "That is personally really difficult to cope with."

However, when it comes to co-stars, Lottie insists she doesn't regret upsetting any of her rivals on the business show in a bid to win the £250,000 business investment and 50/50 partnership with Lord Sugar.

TV bosses have banned the businesswoman from appearing on You're Fired after receiving formal complaints from her co-stars (BBC)

Speaking about her rivals, the star said: "When I entered this process, I entered it to win an investment, not to make friends.

"While I like to be pleasant towards people, if they are going to stand in the way of my success I don't really have a problem in expressing my opinions."

Lottie hit the headlines at the beginning of the series as it emerged she had allegedly made racist remarks towards fellow contestant Lubna Farhan in a WhatsApp group - which she denies.

It was claimed that Lottie told Lubna to "shut up Gandi" and threatened to "f*** her up".

BBC bosses issued a statement last month, however some contestants felt as though she had been let off the hook.

Her persona has also made her a target for abuse from fans, as she's received nasty messages online and even been spat at in the street.
