A millionaire from Hull, has been buried with McDonald’s loyalty stickers, a pink Adidas jacket, cans of Red Bull and Quality Streets.
Melissa Ede, 58, rose to local and national prominence after appearing on the Jeremy Kyle Show in 2016 and 2017.
She later became a millionaire in 2017, and won £4m on a blue scratchcard from the National Lottery .
Earlier this month, Melissa’s fiancé, Rachel Nason, confirmed to the Hull Daily Mail that Ms Ede had sadly passed away on the evening of May 11.
The 58-year-old died is thought to have died from heart disease.
Her funeral took place at Hull's Chanterlands Crematorium and was followed by a wake in the city centre on Thursday 30 May.
Ms Ede, who was transgender, was also a fierce advocate for the LGBT community , and the event was designed to highlight Melissa’s activism and unique personality.
Ms Ede was carried in a multicoloured horse carriage and mourners wore bright colourful attire.
She was buried with an assortment of eclectic items including: The Hull Daily Mail, Quality Street sweets, a pink Adidas jacket, a crucifix, coins, cans of Red Bull, Farm Food vouchers, a Pokemon GO Collection and McDonald’s loyalty stickers.
After the funeral, Ms Nason told the Hull Daily Mail that Melissa would have been pleased with how the event turned out.
The 39-year-old said: "What took place at the crematorium with the horses and carriage was perfect, everything was... and she’d have loved it."
