A lottery syndicate organiser brutally attacked by two masked men who stole £10,000 in cash winnings was betrayed by a former colleague.
The 65-year-old victim was counting the cash when Borge Bradwell and the other raider stormed his home in Cleethorpes, Lincs, with a 2ft-long bat and screamed "Where's the f***ing money?"
The victim was beaten so badly that there was blood everywhere during the terrifying attack which looked like "something out of a horror film".
Bradwell, the victim's former workmate, had plotted the violent attack for a time when he knew the cash would be inside, Grimsby Live reports.

Bradwell, who had hid a string of convictions for violence and dishonesty from colleagues, and the two men he recruited - Daniel Charnock, 38, and Gavin Dyball, 35 - have been jailed for 30 years in total.
The court heard Bradwell, 40, and Charnock were wearing balaclavas and armed with a 2ft-long bat when they raided the victim's home at 6.25pm on July 4 last year.
The man was counting cash in his bedroom when he heard the front door open. He thought it was his wife and went downstairs, but was confronted by the masked pair.
They shouted "Where's the f***ing money?" as Dyball served as the lookout and getaway driver.

The victim was hit over the head when he lunged forward, causing him to fall to the floor.
He was kicked several times as he curled up.
Philip Standfast, prosecuting, told the court: "The men were so persistent that he knew they weren't going to give up.
"He told them the money was upstairs in the bedroom. One went upstairs. The other told him to lie on the floor.

"This had been a sustained and severe attack on a man in his own home."
Mr Standfast said Bradwell was the ringleader, adding: "He had inside knowledge of what was going on."
After demanding the man's phone, Bradwell and Charnock fled with more than £10,000 in cash, including some of the victim's own money.
A short time later, Charnock's girlfriend paid £3,300 cash into her bank account. Some of it was moved to Charnock's savings account.

The victim spent five days in hospital and was off work for two months after suffering injuries including a head wound that required stitches, broken ribs and a punctured lung.
The court heard he still suffered from pain and was taking tablets, and was left so traumatised he would wake up shouting and waving his hands about in the night.
The scene "looked like something out of a horror film" after the attack.
The victim said: "There was blood everywhere. They didn't care about me or my family."

The lottery syndicate was later abandoned due to the theft.
Bradwell, Charnock and Dyball had about 375 previous offences between them, Grimsby Crown Court heard on Friday as they were jailed.
Bradwell and Charnock pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary. Charnock also admitting to possessing cocaine when he was arrested.
Both were jailed for 12-and-a-half years, and will be on extended licence of four years after their release.
A jury acquitted Dyball of aggravated burglary. He admitted burglary and was sentenced to five years and 10 months.

Bradwell admitted that the raid was his idea, said Andrew Bailey, mitigating.
He did not need to do it because he had work available, said Mr Bailey, adding: "He has been a fool."
Judge John Thackray QC told the men: "It was a terrifying attack on a 65-year-old man in his own home, from which he may never fully recover.
"It involved sustained violence and the use of a weapon and the theft of a large sum of money on the day of the offence of over £10,000.
"He was entitled to feel safe in his own home."
The victim watched as the men were sentenced, and said after the hearing: "I am happy with what they have got."
His wife added: "We are happy with the sentences and are glad that it's all over."
