Lottery rollover as Wednesday night's jackpot worth £9 million

No one matched all of tonight's National Lottery numbers meaning a lucky winner could be taking home a bumper £9 million on Wednesday night.

While no one was able to match all of tonight's six main numbers to walk away with the top prize, one lucky ticket holder did get five and the bonus ball, giving them a £1 million pay out.

A total of 81 ticket-holders matched five numbers to win £1,750, while 5,400 matched four numbers to win £140 each.

No-one matched all five numbers to win the £350,000 top prize in the Lotto HotPicks draw, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto main draw.

The highest ever rollover was in January 2016 when David and Carol Martin from Hawick in the Scottish Borders split a £66 million jackpot with another anonymous ticket holder in January 2016. Each winning ticket was worth £33 million.

At present the Lotto can only rollover five times before a "must win" draw is held.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 03, 05, 17, 36, 38 and the Thunderball number was 06.

There was one winner of the £500,000 top prize in the Thunderball game.
