Lots to do in West Lothian in the coming weeks

A children’s classic is set to be brought to the stage in Livington next month.

‘The Secret Garden’ presented by Red Bridge Arts and adapted by Rosalind Sydney will be staged at Howden Park Centre in Livingston on Wednesday, March 4.

And it sure to delight audiences.

When Mary arrives from far away to live with her uncle, everybody says she is the most disagreeable-looking child ever seen.

Mary is grumpy and difficult and also very lonely.

Then one day a friendly robin helps Mary find the key to a mysterious garden that has been kept locked and hidden away for years.

And there Mary discovers a wonder and magic that she had never imagined possible.

Join Mary on a journey filled with secrets and mystery, unexpected friendships and the magical power of a wild and beautiful place.

‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett is one of the greatest classics of children’s literature.

Red Bridge Arts is delighted to be working with some of Scotland’s finest artists to breathe life and invention into this much-loved story, which brings a little magic to everyone.

Tickets are £7 and the performance is recommended for children age six plus and their adults.

Fans of the music of Neil Diamond ar also up for a treat in March.

Bob Drury’s ‘Viva Neil Diamond’ will take to the stage on Thursday, March 5. Whilst performing in Las Vegas four years ago Bob Drury was described as: ”One of the world’s finest vocal tributes to Neil Diamond”.

And he’s now back touring the UK with his new show celebrating the legendary singer and his incredible back catalogue of songs.

This year’s show includes all the favourites such as ‘Cracklin’ Rosie’, ‘America’, ‘Love on the Rocks’, ‘Forever in Blue Jeans’ and many more.

Tickets are £16.
