Residents are being urged to check whether they are entitled to a cold weather payment after temperatures plummeted.
The recent cold snap has triggered the first Cold Weather Payments across parts of the UK, including Scotland.
The payments are issued when an area's average daily temperature for the last seven days falls below zero, or the average temperature for that day and the next six days is forecast to be 0ºC or below.
Anyone receiving Pension Credi, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit, or Support for Mortgage Interest may be eligible for the extra financial support.
Those who are eligible will receive £25 to cover their heating bills, which is paid automatically into their bank accounts.
The payment will be deposited automatically - you can check if you qualify on the GOV.UK website here.
West Lothian MP, Hannah Bardell, took to social media to remind constituents living in Livingston that they may be eligible for the free payment.

She said: "A cold weather payment has been triggered for a number of areas in Livingston - please check below to see if your postcode is included and you are eligible for the £25 payment.
"The alert was triggered on 4/1/2020 for the period 28/12/2020 to 3/1/2021.
"£25 will be paid to eligible residents within Livingston constituency living in the postcode district(s) listed above."
