Lothian Buses will be making changes to dozens of their Edinburgh area services in the coming weeks.
The travel operator is reminding people that a total of 27 bus journeys will be affected by the alterations, which come into force on 14 July.
They say that the number of express buses operating on X33 and X37 routes will be increased, while timetables on a host of other services will see changes.
Service 1 will be extended to Leith Links due to the removal of the roundabout at the foot of Easter Road; service 15/X15 will now run between Penicuik and Waterloo Place; service 30 will no longer serve Stoneybank Crescent and Monktonhall Terrace; service 33 will terminate at Sheriffhall; X33 will have extra journeys at peak time while the route will be extended to Newtongrange and service 21 will no longer serve the Gyle Centre on Saturdays.
Lothian Buses have also announced that they will be bringing in a new service 48 bus between Gorebridge and Fort Kinnaird via Newtongrange, Mayfield, Dalkeith and the Royal Infirmary.
Other services affected by the changes are 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31, 36, 38, 41, 45, 47 and 49.
Full revised timetables will be released in the coming days on the Lothian Buses website .
