Lost your pet? How far would you go to find it?

A woman has hired a helicopter to help in search for her missing dog. Sylvia the Shiba Inu went missing last weekend on a day trip to the beach in Wales. Janice Bannister hired the helicopter for £750 to scour Anglesey for three hours, but had no luck. She is now considering renting a drone that has infrared detectors.

How far would you go for a pet? Would you pay for a private investigator if your cat went missing, or take out a loan for expensive medical bills? Perhaps you already spend a large proportion of your salary on special food for your pup, or a specialist heating system for your snake. Would you do what Janice has done, and refuse to accept that your dog has gone? Tell us the limits of puppy love.
