Lost Voice Guy at Edinburgh Fringe: Top comedian set for run of shows at Gilded Balloon

Lost Voice Guy will be bringing his hilarious stand-up show to this summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The top comedian will rock up at the Gilded Balloon auditorium for a run of performances stretching from 11 to 25 August.

His show, which is called I'm Only in it for the Parking, is sure to have audiences at the festival in stitches.

Lost Voice Guy, whose real name is Lee Ridley, rose to prominence after winning last year's series of Britain's Got Talent. He has been disabled since he was a young child and is unable to speak due to a neurological form of cerebral palsy he has.

He worked for a number of years in journalism before embarking on his comedy career in 2012. He uses a speech synthesiser to deliver his winning performances – and says that while he might not be able to talk, "he definitely has something to say – and his comedy will leave you speechless".

Since starring on prime-time television last year, he has gone on to appear on America's Got Talent: The Champions, Live At The Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance and Comedy Central at the Comedy Store.

You can watch him in action on the video at the top of this article.

Tickets for his Edinburgh Festival Fringe show are priced from £12.50 with weekend shows £1 more expensive.
