Lost pup accused of trying to steal limelight after turning up Dublin's Heuston Station

Irish Rail have launched an appeal after yet ANOTHER stray puppy turned up at a Dublin train station.

The latest lost dog may have been jealous of all the attention 'Hamish' got last week - and so has gone to Heuston himself to see if he can make it on the news.

Adventurous dog who travelled by train from Kildare to Dublin reunited with owner

Last week, an adventurous pup managed to get his own segment on the Six One news after getting a train all on his own from Sallins to Hueston.

The pup is now safe in Heuston Station (irishrail Twitter)

Hamish, whose name was later revealed to be Tyson, spent the night with My Lovely Horse Rescue before his owners came forward to take him back.

A number of people had tried to claim him after he made national headlines and captured the nation's heart.

Now a new dog has turned up at Heuston with Irish Rail sending out an appeal for the owner to come forward.

Multiple people try to claim famous adventure dog 'Hamish' who boarded train to Dublin all on his own

They said: "Another furry friend has found his way to Heuston Station! Please RT so we can re-unite him with his owner. #lostdog."

Many were quick to say the latest train dog is trying to get its paws in on the publicity, with one saying "they're all looking for the limelight."

It's not clear whether the dog boarded a train with one person claiming they saw it getting off the Luas outside.
