Some people have been saying that Lost has lost it, but how wrong they are.
Lost returned to British TV screens last night and it was back to its brilliant best.
Sadly for Sky, it was watched by far fewer viewers than Channel 4 used to attract - 1.4 million. I can understand why those who don't have multi-channel don't watch it - they can't. But I don't understand those who just seem to have an aversion to watching Sky One (the same thing happened with 24, and that was back in the day when multi-channel was a minority).
What were you thinking?
Lost was back to its brilliant best. Pre-crash exposition that told you much but left you wanting more. An opening segment that looked like a pre-crash scene and then turned out to be anything but. Some tantalising glimpses into connections with the outside world. No bloody answers, really, of course. But, hey, we all have our own theories and as the old proverb says, its not the arriving, but the travelling that is important.
And we haven't even seen Locke yet! Which Locke will turn up? The wise and wonderful one, or the one battered by self doubt?
