Newcastle United's Joelinton failed to impress during the club's 1-1 draw with Rochdale in the FA Cup Third Round.
The Magpies went into the break 1-0 up thanks to Miguel Almiron, and in truth should have had three more but Joelinton , along with Yoshinori Muto, failed to take their chances before the half-time whistle went.
The Brazilian, who cost the Magpies £40million in the summer, dragged a shot wide and forced Rochdale goalkeeper David Sanchez into an easy save but didn't win the fans over.
The League One side then came out in the second half and turned the game around and it was a mistake from Joelinton that allowed Rochdale in.
The number nine losing the ball on the edge of the Rochdale's box, allowing Brian Barry-Murphy's side to go down and draw level through Aaron Wilbraham.
Martin Dubravka was forced into several saves, and Rochdale should have won the game at the death when Oliver Rathbone dragged a shot wide.
