Dec. 25--It has been an extraordinary year! We've made it through countless museum shows, a galaxy's worth of gallery exhibitions, two museum openings (the Broad and the Petersen Automotive Museum) and the publication of a library's worth of comics, novels, biographies and exhibition catalogs.
As always, I am truly grateful for your continued support and would like to wish you a wonderful and peaceful holiday.
Bonnie the Pitbull, a.k.a. my dog, a.k.a. the official muse and mascot of the High Low blog, got dressed up especially for this occasion and sat for the special holiday portrait above. (For the record: She is not the only L.A. Times canine mascot. My colleague Diana Marcum has Murphy, who helps out on drought reporting.)
