TEAM NEEDS

Offensive Line
The Rams lost guard Rodger Saffold to the Raiders and center John Sullivan is a free agent, leaving Brian Allen as the only option at the position. Tackle Andrew Whitworth remains the best player on the offensive line, but he is in the last year of his contract and is 37 years old.
Defensive Tackle
Aaron Donald remains one of the best in the game, but there is a big hole in that line due to the departure of Ndamukong Suh. Suh remains unsigned by an NFL team, but all signs point to him being out of the Rams’ price range, which could lead to the team drafting his replacement early on.
Inside Linebacker
The Rams signed Clay Matthews to help shore up the position after the loss of Mark Barron. The issue with Matthews is that he’s suited better outside as a player that can rush the passer and drop back into coverage. He’s also 32 years old and not getting any younger. Los Angeles lacks a player that’s adept at coming downhill to fill in running lanes.
Safety
The Rams lost LaMarcus Joyner in free agency to the Raiders, but managed to pick up Eric Weddle in return. Even though Weddle is playing good football, he is 34 years old and could opt to retire after the 2020 season, thus leaving a possibility for his future replacement.
