Los Angeles psychologist says he's the one who left box of manure for Mnuchin

The man who dropped a load of horse manure near Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's California home said his gift represented the Trump administration's tax plan.

Los Angeles psychologist Robby Strong took credit on Facebook for the prank by sharing a copy of the card he left with his delivery Saturday.

The envelope was addressed to "Stevie."

"Mrs. Mnuchin & Trump, We're returning the 'gift' of the Christmas tax bill. It's bullshit. Warmest wishes, the American People," the note read. "PS _ Kiss Donald for me."

Strong was first identified as the prankster by AL.com Monday.

Strong told the Alabama newspapers that contribute to AL.com that he got enough manure from a friend with horses to leave two boxes at both of Mnuchin's properties, including another mansion in Beverly Hills. Police were sent the Bel-Air property after a neighbor stumbled upon one of the boxes.

Strong said on Facebook that Secret Service agents interviewed him about the stunt Sunday evening.

"Yikes! Luckily I have peace of mind and a clean conscience. I now join my biggest hero's who also had an FBI file. It's a right of passage," Strong wrote.

He said Timothy Leary and Martin Luther King were among his heroes, according to Al.com.

It's unclear whether face criminal charges for his stunt.
