Los Angeles’ odds are slim to host 2022 NFL draft

The league announced that the 2021 NFL draft will be held in Cleveland, while the 2023 NFL draft will be hosted by Kansas City. The location for the 2022 NFL Draft has not yet been determined.

There have been speculations that Los Angeles would be great to host the event, given the fact that the Chargers and Rams’ new stadium opens up next year in 2020. However, the chances of them having the draft in the City of Angels are low.

Surprisingly, L.A. was given 100/1 odds to host the 2022 NFL draft, according to BetOnline.AG. That marks the lowest odds among the cities that were on the list. It was tied with New Orleans, Nashville and Indianapolis.

The city that has the highest chances of having the event in three years is Boston with 2/1 odds, followed by Washington DC with 5/2 and Denver with 3/1.

The odds came as a bit of a surprise considering the fact that the new and beautiful stadium will have already been open for two years and the state of California attracts quite a bit of people, especially at that time of the year.

The announcement date and time have yet to be announced for the 2022 NFL draft. Even if the city doesn’t earn the bid for that given year, expect them to host the event at some point in the very near future.
