TEAM NEEDS

Offensive Line
The Chargers had one of the worst offensive lines and it’s blatantly obvious that they could use an upgrade. Sam Tevi is a liability at right tackle while Dan Feeney struggled in his sophomore season. Forrest Lamp, the second round selection from the 2017 NFL draft has yet to see, too after suffering a torn ACL in his rookie year.
Free Safety
The Bolts made a decision that many didn’t expect coming with the release of Jahleel Addae earlier this offseason. Currently, the team has Jaylen Watkins and Rayshawn Jenkins as the two players at the position on the active roster. Both players have yet to prove themselves, but it’s unlikely they’re the long-term answer at the position.
Interior Defensive Line
Los Angeles kicked off the free agency period with four unrestricted free agents at the position. The team re-signed Brandon Mebane, but lost Darius Philon to the Cardinals earlier in March. Mebane, T.Y. McGill and Justin Jones are the only three players on the active roster that man the interior part of the defensive line.
Wide Receiver
Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are quality receivers, but there isn’t much else promising behind them. L.A. lost Tyrell Williams to the Raiders and Travis Benjamin isn’t an ideal go-to as injuries and inconsistency has hammered his tenure with the team. The Chargers will look to add depth to compete for the No. 3 and 4 spots.
