Criminals are reported to have stolen three lorries full of whisky during a break-in at a Warrington warehouse.
The heist at XPO Logistics storage depot in Birchwood, Cheshire was said to have happened on Tuesday, October 20.
Three HGVs and their trailers containing large quantities of alcohol were reported stolen and later found abandoned at an industrial estate in Rochdale, said Cheshire Police.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 6.30am on Wednesday, October 21, police received a report of a burglary at storage unit on Leacroft Road in Birchwood.
“The burglary involved the theft of three HGVs and trailers with a large quantity of alcohol reported to be inside.
“It is believed to have occurred between 9.30pm and 11.15pm on Tuesday, October 20.
“All three HGVs and one trailer were located a few hours later at an industrial estate in Middleton.”
