A lorry landed on the roof of a car on a busy road.
Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene yesterday afternoon when it appears the vehicle toppled during a collision with the motor.
The drama unfolded at 1.30pm near College Milton industrial estate in East Kilbride.
An eyewitness told Lanarkshire Live: "There were three ambulances and a couple of police cars. They were blocking the road while dealing with it all, so it looks serious.
"It looked pretty bad, I saw a big blue lorry lying over the car as though it had fallen straight onto it right in the middle of the road.
"I really hope the person in the car is OK."
Police say two cars and a lorry were involved in the incident, and fortunately no one needed hospital treatment.
Traffic was badly affected in the area while emergency services were on the scene.
A spokesman said: "Police and SAS attended the scene. No-one was taken to hospital.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident continue."
