A lucky trucker walked away unscathed from a crash which completely crushed the cab of his lorry, stunning police who said he should "buy a lottery ticket".
Amazingly he was left with only one small cut to his head after stepping out of his cab which resembled “a concertina”.
Somehow the trucker ducked into a tiny space as he crashed and saved himself from being crushed to death in his mangled lorry.
Police were stunned and said he was "incredibly lucky to escape death" before joking that he should "buy a lottery ticket" after his narrow escape.

His lorry had smashed into the back of another HGV on the M1 motorway in Derbyshire on Tuesday.
The first vehicle came to halt on the slow lane of the northbound carriageway between junction 29A and 30 after suffering a tyre blow out.
A second lorry was unable to stop and ploughed into the back of the 18-wheeler sending debris scattering across both sides of the motorway.

Dramatic pictures of the wrecked cab were posted on the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit Twitter page who said the lucky driver should “buy a lottery ticket”.
They said: “M1 North J29A to J30. Lorry 1 has blowout and slows in lane 1. Lorry 2 fails to see this and drives in to the back of it.
“Check the damage - the driver is incredibly lucky to escape death. Small cut to head and hopefully buying a lottery ticket. Stay alert.”

Fellow drivers told of their shock at the crash site, with some saying they were “convinced it was a fatal”.
IT consultant Paul Singleton, 40, was driving on the opposite carriageway when he drove past the crash site.
He said: “When I saw the damage it looked like the cab was a concertina. It was totally crushed in.

“I was convinced it was a fatal crash.”
Another motorist said: “How the hell that guy walked away from that is nothing short of a miracle. Hat’s off the emergency services.”
