An investigation is under way after a man's body was found at a freight park in Widnes.
Cheshire Police said officers were called to Stobart rail freight terminal on Desoto Road at around 4.30am on Monday. Upon arriving they found that a 61-year-old man had died.
His next of kin have been informed and a police investigation is taking place, supported by the Health and Safety Executive. The ECHO understands the deceased was a lorry driver and was found by a fellow trucker.

Stobart said the incident was a "tragic accident", adding the company's thoughts are with the deceased's family.
The rail depot is part of the Mersey Multi-Modal Gateway (3MG).
A Cheshire Police spokesman told the ECHO: “At roughly 4.30am on Monday, July 4, officers responded to an industrial incident that occurred on Desoto Road, Widnes.
“Officers attended and found that a 61-year-old man had sadly passed away.
“An investigation into the incident has been launched by Cheshire Police with support from the Health and Safety Executive.
“The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.”
A Stobart spokesman told the ECHO: "It is with regret that we can confirm that an incident occurred on July 4, which unfortunately resulted in the fatality of an employee.
"A full investigation is under way, and we are cooperating fully with the authorities to establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident.
"Our thoughts are with the family at this extremely sad time.”
The ECHO has approached the HSE for comment.
