A 64-year old man has died following a crash on the A46 near Winthorpe on Thursday (August 29).
Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 2.40pm to a report that a lorry had left the road and gone into a ditch.
There was only one vehicle involved in the incident.
The driver died at the scene a short while later, it has been confirmed.
The A46 northbound was closed yesterday while police collision investigators carried out enquiries but has since re-opened.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they may have dashcam footage of the incident to call Nottinghamshire Police, quoting incident number 498 of 29 August 2019.
